Marble Mountains

We will take you to the most iconic sites between Hoi An and Hué: The Marble Mountains Our tour will start with the first landmark, the Marble Mountains. The five marble mountains are located around 10 km from Da Nang in the direction of Hoi An. They are named after the 5 elements, according to Buddhist teachings: water, metal, wood, fire and earth. The water mountain (Thuy Son) is equipped with its own lift to access the summit.

At the top, you can visit a variety of different caves, including several with Buddhist temples and marble sculptures. During the Vietnam War, a Vietnamese hospital was hidden in the caves, just a few kilometres from the main American military bases.

Linh Ung Pagoda & Lady Buddha

Our next destination is the Linh Ung Pagoda, the largest pagoda in Da Nang. It is home to one of the largest Buddha statues in Vietnam, Lady Buddha, which is 67 m high and can be seen from Da Nang beach. Fishing village Just beyond the Linh Ung pagoda, we will visit a fishing village.

The Man Thai fishing village

The Man Thai fishing village is located at the foot of Son Tra Mountain (Monkey Mountain) and is the main fishing village serving Da Nang city. Despite the modernisation of the nearby city, the fishermen still use traditional methods and rattan baskets to bring in their catch.

Hai Van Pass

The Hai Van Pass The pass is located between Hué and Da Nang. This impressive feature has always played an important role as the border between northern and southern Vietnam. It is also known for its beautiful landscapes and magnificent views of the mountains and the South China Sea.

The Hai Van Pass is 21 km long, winding over the hills of the Trường Sơn Mountains where they jut into the sea.. It represents both an ancient geographical frontier and a climatic boundary between the north and south of the country. In addition to the road over the mountain, the pass can also be crossed using the railway which lies closer to the sea and passes through several tunnels.

Lang Co

The Lang Co bay and fishing village lie between the Lap An Lagoon and the East Sea, about 70 km south of Hué and 30 km north of the city of Da Nang. Lang Co was recognised as one of the most beautiful bays in the world in 2009.
